Event Details

Just over 300 runners crossed the finish line at the fall 2008 running of Tucson's Everyone Runs Half Marathon, which featured a newly designed and mostly flat course (as flat as Tucson can be!) that starts and finishes at Sabino High School, traveling the neighboring roads at the foot of the Catalina Mountains just outside the city. The course features live music, at least eight water / Cytomax stations, energy gels, live music, cheery volunteers and great scenery. Family and friends can cheer you on as you finish on the football stadium track! Kids, try our Fun Run designed just for you.

After the race, there will be finisher tech shirts for everyone (excluding the kids fun run), an awards ceremony for half marathon & 5k for overall and five-year age groups, free breakfast and Robeks Smoothies, live music, free race photos (if available), kid's activities and lots more. There will be on-course race support until 11:00 AM, and runners are limited to 3 hours, 45 minutes to complete the race.

This fast and flat out-and-back course is accompanied by on-course music, cheerleaders and plenty of volunteers to encourage you on. Following the morning's races (the event also includes a 5K and a 1-mile kids' fun run) is a post-race festival, with refreshments and drinks for the runners and enterainment for participants and spectators alike.

Race Weather & Climate

Dry, mild weather is the norm in the Tucson area in the early fall months, with November temperatures that sometimes vary quite widely, averaging between 39°F and 74°F. Rainfall is almost nonexistent, averaging only just over half an inch for the month.
