Big Trees Trail Run Half Marathon, 10K, 30K & 50K > Half Marathon Course Map

Runners follow an out-and-back loop course through Redwood Regional Park just outside Oakland at the Big Trees Trail Run, which starts and finishes on the Sunset Trail just off Joaquin Mill Road. From there, the course makes what is roughly a clockwise loop around the 1,829-acre park, which is perhaps best known for its 150-ft.-high redwood trees. The race takes runners winding through a number of the park's trails -- with names like the Sequoia Bayview, East Ridge, Big Trees and Golden Spike trails -- before heading back onto the Sunset Trail for the race finish.

Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
