Details
One of the three half marathons that make up Southern California's Half
Marathon Triple Crown (the others are in La Jolla and San Diego), the
Carlsbad Half boasts near-perfect weather conditions for a winter road
race (conditions ordinarily are sunny and breezy, with temperatures in
the 50s and 60s). The half marathon course ventures along beautiful
stretches of oceanfront highways through Carlsbad and San Diego, and
features some steep elevation changes in the first third of the course.
