The Marin Headlands across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco
form the backdrop for this beautifully picturesque trail marathon, half
marathon and 7-mile race through the hills of Sausalito. Runners start
and finish at Rodeo Beach at Fort Cronkhite in Sausalito, and run a
combination of singletrack hiking trails, fire roads, pavement and a
beach crossing, running throughout along the lush Pacific shoreline
dotted with vibrant wildflowers
