Details
In 2007, Riverside will celebrate the inaugural running of its Sister
Cities Marathon, to celebrate its affiliation with sister city Sendai,
Japan. The race will start and finish at downtown's historic Mission
Inn, and will take runners past scenic areas and historical sites, and
will feature
a number of cultural displays along the route that highlight the
international
connection with Sendai. The weekend's events will also include a 5K
run, a 5K competitive walk and a 5K "fun walk."
