Located about 20 minutes from Stamford and 10 minutes from Bridgeport
(and an hour's drive from New York City), the city of Fairfield has
hosted this half marathon & 5K since 1981. The out-and-back
course for the
half starts and finishes at Fairfield's Jennings Beach, and takes
runners past stately mansions as well as scenic beaches and bridges
through Fairfield, Southport and nearby Greenfield Hill.
Race
Weather & Climate
Early summer weather in the Fairfield area tends to be mild to
moderate, with temperatures averaging between 60°F and
76°F. Rainfall is a possibility on race day, as area
precipitation averages just over 3 1/2 inches during the month.
$35 for half-marathon participants
$20 for 5K participants
Entrants who raise $100 or more the Connecticut Burns Care Foundation can register for the race for free
