Details
The Lewis & Clark Half Marathon & 5K takes runners
along a beautiful riverside course along Idaho's Snake River, through
the cities of Clarkston and Lewiston, with the turnaround point in
nearby Asotin, Washington, just to the south. The start and finish
lines are at Granite Lake Park, which lies to the west of Lewiston, and
the course takes runners along the area's Greenbelt Trail, for a fast
and flat race along mostly paved trails.
Half-marathon participants can run either as individuals or as part of
2- to 3-person relay teams, and the day's events also include a 5K "fun
run," which follows an out-and-back course from the starting point at
Granite Lake Park to Beachview Park and back.
