Race 2 the Summit Half Marathon, 10K & 5K > Half Marathon Course Map

Runners start the point-to-point course for the Race 2 the Summit at Horseshoe Bend City Park, near the intersection of Noland Drive and Highway 55. From there, the course unfolds first across the bridge over the Payette River and then heads south along Old Emmett Road and Summit Ridge Road. The race features a long, gradual uphill that climbs more than 1,600 feet between the starting line and the highest point, between the 6th and 7th mile markers. After that, it's a long, equally gradual downhill to the finish line back in Horseshoe Bend.

Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
