Details
Called Idaho's "fastest half marathon course" by both the event
organizers and Runner's World magazine, Idaho
Falls' Rock Roll & Run Half Marathon also includes a 10K and a
5K race, and takes runners on a course through the scenic rolling
farmland of this city set in the state's southeastern corner.
From the race starting line at the city's Old Butte Park, on Clarence
Drive near the Idaho Falls Regional Airport, runners follow an
out-and-back route that features ample flat stretches throughout, as
the course winds through the roads along the wide-open farm fields here
in Eastern Idaho. Thanks to its location and course, the organizers add
that this event offers runners both an excellent tune-up for fall
marathons & halfs as well as a great opportunity to mark a personal
best time.
