Valley of Fire Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K & 5K > Half Marathon Course Map
Runners follow an out-and-back course that runs through Valley of Fire State Park near Lake Mead for the half marathon, which starts with the other races at the visitor center parking lot on Valley of Fire Highway. From there, the 13.1-mile course heads along the road north toward White Domes, with a brief out-and-back detour at the mile 2 marker. After that, the course heads north again all the way to the second turnaround point between miles 7 and 8, and then heads south back to the visitor center for the race finish.

Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
