Details
The 10th annual Inside Out Sports Classic Half Marathon expects to
welcome back the more than 1,000 runners
and walkers who participate each year in this race that takes place in
the Research
Triangle area of North Carolina, near the city of Raleigh. Organized
and staged by the North Carolina Roadrunners Club, the race benefits
the area's Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities, a local
nonprofit agency that provides support services to adults with special
needs and their
families.
Following an course that begins on the Cary Parkway and finishes at the
intersection of Cary Parkway and N.C. Highway 54, the race takes 10K
participants along an entirely paved course and half-marathon
participants along a mixture of paved roads, greenway trails and
hard-packed forest trails. For half
marathoners, the race starts at 7:30 AM, while the 10K begins at 7:45
AM. Both courses close by 10:30 AM.

Weather & Climate
Cool, occasionally wet weather is typical in the Cary, North Carolina,
area in the early weeks of the spring, with average temparatures for
the month of March between 41°F and 64°F. Rainfall is
something to look out for, as the area sees an average of nearly four
and a half inches of precipitation during the month.
