Just over 390 runners crossed the finish line in both races combined at the early spring 2010
running of the Churchill's Half Marathon & 5K road race, which takes runners on a largely fast and flat course that starts and finishes at The Shops of Fallen Timbers between Monclova and nearby Maumee, Ohio. Long a mainstay of the local running and racing community, the
Churchill's Half Marathon celebrated its 43rd annual running in 2010.

Toledo, tends to see some pretty cold weather in the waning days of
winter. In March, average temperatures range from 46°F to
28°F, while precipitation amounts -- which can mean snow --
average about 2.62 inches for the month.
