Ohio > Halloween Half Marathon & the Pi Miler 5K & 10K
Clayton, OH • Saturday, October 26, 2013 • Course Map
Set for its 4th annual running in 2013, along the city streets and country roads just outside this small city set in the region known as Ohio's Miami Valley -- named for the cities and communities that lie in the Great Miami River valley -- Clayton's Halloween Half Marathon & 5K also serves as a fundraiser for the locally based Miami Valley Career Technology Center Education Foundation and the ML Hawk Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
In addition to the half marathon, the race also features both a 10K and a 5K race that are open to both runners and walkers, which features a starting time that follows the half marathon by 15 minutes -- the half marathon starts at 9:00 AM, followed by the 10K and the "Pi Miler" (5K) at 9:15 AM. The organizers also encourage participants to dress up for the race in their "spookiest" outfit, as they'll have a costume contest for runners and walkers after the race.
Just over 200 runners and walkers crossed the finish line in all three races combined in 2012, including 113 finishers in the half marathon.
