Details
Both the half and the full marathon races in the Pacific Crest Marathon
circle the Sunriver Resort, with a course that unfolds on scenic, wide
paved bicycle paths. Runners are treated to views of the Oregon
forests, rivers and beautifully landscaped golf courses and summer
homes. Sunriver's Athlete Village serves as the starting and finish
lines for the race.

With temperatures that average between 41°F and 73°F in
June, the Bend area (15 miles from Sunriver) can see cool to moderately
warm weather in the
summer. The area is usually dry this time of year, as area
precipitation
averages less than an inch inch during the month.
