Details
The Lehigh Valley Half Marathon & 5K welcomes more than 4,000
participants every year from all over the world to this scenic area in
Pennsylvania. Closed to traffic for three and a half hours, the race
course takes runners over rolling hills and through a covered bridge on
the picturesque Lehigh Parkway, with a few slight-to-moderate changes
in elevation throughout the race (the highest point on the course tops
out at 340 feet above sea level, while the lowest is at 249 feet). The
race also features plentiful music for participants, with 10 live bands
along the race route.

Weather & Climate
The Allentown area normally sees cool-to-moderate temperatures on the
day of the race in
late April, averaging between 38°F and 60°F. Be
prepared for rain, as Allentown sees an average of about three and a
half inches of rain during that month.
Fees
For half marathon:
$50 before October 31, 2007
$55 from Nov. 1 to November 30, 2007
$60 from December 1 to when the race is sold out
For the 5K: $30
