Details
The 8th annual running of the Aberdeen Family YMCA Bull Run will
commence in the summer of 2008, as participants in the event's
half-marathon, 10K, 5K, Fun Walk and "Munchkin Run" for kids take off
from the YMCA headquarters on State Street and run along a fast, flat
course throughout this South Dakota town's downtown districts and
neighborhoods.
All races start and finish from the same location, and registration is
available on the day of the race beginning at 6:30 AM. Participants are
encouraged to arrive early, as the half marathon portion of the event
begins at 7:00 AM, while the rest of the races start at 8:00 AM. An
awards ceremony will follow the last timed runner who crosses the
finish line.

Weather & Climate
Typically the warmest month of the year for this South Dakota town set
in the flat James River valley area (about 11 miles west of the river
itself), in the state's northeastern corner. Average temperatures
during the month of July range between 85°F and 60°F,
while rainfall averages about 2.92 inches for the month.

$25 for the half marathon, 10K & 5K
