Details
Billed as "Tennessee's Oldest Marathon," the Andrew Jackson Marathon
& Half Marathon celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. The
race, which follows an out-and-back loop coure for the half marathon,
takes runners on a tour of the northwestern outskirts of the city,
along a largely flat course on paved surfaces. The USATF-certified
event, which for the half participants begins at 7:30 AM, starts and
finishes at the city's Union University.

Weather & Climate
Nestled in the hills of West Tennessee about 90 miles from Memphis, the
Jackson area tends to see mild to moderately warm temperatures in the
early spring, as April temperatures average between 48°F and
71°F. Rainfall is a possibility, as precipitation averages
nearly 5 inches during the month.
Fees
$40 if registered before February 9, 2008
$50 between Feb. 9 - Feb. 27
$60 after Feb. 27 through the day of the race

Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K is now closed, as the event has
