Details
An out-and-back course that takes runners along the rolling, scenic
hills of the Strawberry Plains area just outside Knoxville in eastern
Tennessee, the Strawberry Plains Half Marathon & 10K runs
through the Holston River Valley and includes views of Clinch and House
Mountains. The race starts and finishes at Rush Strong School on Old
Andrew Johnson Highway, and is run entirely on paved surfaces.

Weather & Climate
Set in the hills of easternmost Tennessee, the Knoxville area tends to
see cold to mild temperatures in the later weeks of winter, as February
temperatures average between 33°F and 52°F. February
brings an average of nearly 4 inches of precipitation, so come prepared
for possible wet weather.

2008 fees:
$20 if registered by February 8, 2008
$25 from Feb. 9 through the day of the race
