Details
With a day full of events that include a 5K run, a "Healthy Nashville"
Mayor's Walk and a wheelchair half marathon, runners get the chance to
choose among a wide variety of running events at Nashville's Tom King
Classic Memorial Half Marathon, which marks its 15th annual running in
2009.
The event begins at Titans Stadium, home field of the NFL's Tennessee
Titans, and takes participants on a tour of some of "Music City"'s
famous sights and streets, and then winds up for the finish on the
50-yard line back at Titans Stadium, where all runners, walkers, and
wheelchair participants alike get to see themselves cross the finish
line on the stadium's JumboTron.
Race
Weather & Climate
Located near the middle of the state, along the banks of the Cumberland
River, the city of Nashville can see weather conditions that are still
quite chilly in the late winter/early spring season, with plenty of
rainfall or frozen precipitation as well. In March, average monthly
temperatures range between 61°F and 39°F, while
precipitation amounts average around 4.87 inches, making March the
second wettest month of the year for Nashville.

2008 fees:
$35 if registered by December 31, 2007
$40 between January 1 - February 29, 2008
$45 between March 1 - 14
$50 on the day of the race

Online registration is not yet open for the spring 2009 running of the
Tom King Classic Half
