Texas > American Bank Half Marathon & Relay
Corpus Christi, TX • Saturday, December 10, 2011 • Course Map
Hosted by the locally based Corpus Christi Roadrunners running club, the American Bank Half Marathon & Relay takes runners on an out-and-back tour of this coastal city along the Texas Gulf coast, along a flat and fast route that should offer many runners the chance to record a personal record time.
In addition to the individual half marathon, race organizers also offer a two-person relay with three different team variations: two-person male-only teams, two-person female-only teams, and two-person mixed teams. Both the individual and the half marathon will start on North Shoreline Boulevard near downtown, near the area known as Bayfront.
From there, the course heads out on a route that winds through the Corpus Christi city streets, from One Shoreline Plaza. The starting time for the race is scheduled for 7:00 AM.
