Details
Last year's running of the Gar Williams Half Marathon welcomed just
over 160 runners to the Belle Haven Marina area for a sun-filled race
with temps around 50 degrees. Named for the past president of both the
Road Runners Club of America and the DC Road Runners club, this race is
described by participants as a hilly, challenging course -- and is
always run in some of the Washington area's coldest weather! All
those interested in participating in this low-key event -- registration
takes place immediately before the start on Saturday morning -- are
asked to make the drive to Belle Haven Park & Marina, just
south of Alexandria and nearby Washington, D.C.
