Event Details

Open to runners, walkers and children, the Run for the Honeywagon Half Marathon begins and ends at Everson's Nooksack Valley Middle School, and takes participants along a fast, flat paved course through the streets of the city and along surrounding country roads. The event includes the half-marathon (which starts at 10:00 AM) as well as a 4-Mile Run/Walk and a 1/2-Mile Fun Run for kids, and participants are advised that the aid stations along the course will be closed at 12:30 PM, while the finish line will close at 1:00 PM. The race is organized and sponsored by the Greater Bellingham Running Club.

Race Weather & Climate

Cool, often cold weather prevails in the Everson area in the early spring, as March temperatures average between 37°F and 53°F. Come prepared for wet weather, as the town sees an average of just over 4 inches of precipitation during the month.

GBRC members may participate for free

You can register for the event on the day of the race only, at the race starting line at Nooksack Valley Middle School in Everson.
