Starting at the corner of the campus of Walla Walla College on 4th
Street SW and Davis Avenue, the Walla Walla College Half Marathon takes
runners on a tour of the city of College Place and the tree-lined
campus of Walla Walla
College, along a fast and flat out-and-back course consisting
entirely of paved roads. Surrounded by rivers, forests, mountains,
hills and canyons, the local area enjoys an average of 270 days of
sunshine every year, so the event promises mild, pleasant weather for
running conditions.

area, with temperatures averaging between 38°F and
64°F. Rainfall is occasional, with just over 1.3 inches of
average precipitation during the month.
