The Journeys Marathon & Half Marathon features a challenging
point-to-point half marathon that begins in nearby Conover near the
Lower Bucktabon Lake and takes runners along scenic trails, past many
of the area's picturesque lakes and through its state forest areas. The
final portion of the half takes runners over the Eagle River and
finishes in the town's Riverview Park. The day's events also feature a
13.1-mile power walk, 5K and a kids' fun run.
