Haunted Half Phoenix

Saturday, October 21, 2017 • Chandler, AZ • Course Map

The deserts of the southwestern United States play host to the Haunted Half Phoenix, taking place in nearby Chandler.

Beginning near San Tan Mountain Regional Park, the half marathon continues west along East Hunt Highway in nearby Chandler Heights for the first several miles of the race. From there, the course turns right onto South Rigley Road and continues downhill for about a mile before continuing west on East Riggs Road. The final major turn of the course happens just before mile 9, a right turn onto South Gilbert Road before turning into the shopping center hosting the finish line festivities.

While the first half of the half marathon takes place almost entirely downhill, the second half is predominantly flat, making this half marathon a great course for setting a personal record.

Runners are encouraged to run in costume, especially to participate in the costume contest after the half marathon.
