Beat the Bird Half Marathon & 5K, hosted annually by the Columbus Road Runners, is the perfect athletic challenge to burn some calories in the week before your Thanksgiving feast.
The race kicks off from Hardaway High School in Columbus and features a road and rails-to-trails course, offering a variety of surfaces as you tour Columbus throughout your run.
If you want more from the Columbus Road Runners, this race is part of the organizations’ Fall Five 5K and Distance Series, which also includes the upcoming Big Dog Jingle in December.
There is a four hour time limit for the half marathon and a two and half hour time limit for the 5K, making this challenge accessible to first-time and veteran runners alike
