Racers will make their way to onto Olive Hill Lane and then make a sharp right onto Sparlin Lane just before the 5th mile marker. The course then takes a slight right onto Hagen Road and runners will pass the 6th mile marker once making a left onto First Avenue.
The course travels across the halfway point on First Avenue and nearly all the way to mile marker 8. One runners reach Coombsville Road, they will make a left and begin a large loop back to North Avenue.
This section of the course retraces a section of the 3rd and 8th miles. Once racers reach Coombsville Road for the second time, they will follow the course to 4th Avenue which will lead them back to Skyline Park and the finish line.
