This event offers something for everyone with three distinct races to choose from: a Half Marathon, a 10k, and a special one-mile Kids Race. Nestled in the historic Quicksilver mining territory of Almaden Quicksilver County Park, this race allows you to explore picturesque single-track trails and fire roads while immersing yourself in nature’s wonders.

As you navigate the course, you’ll find yourself traversing peaceful oak forests and open meadows, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the Santa Clara Valley and the Santa Cruz Mountains. The terrain is demanding, but the allure of the splendid landscapes will make the miles pass by in the blink of an eye.

If you’ve primarily stuck to roads in your running journey, the Quicksilver Challenge is the perfect introduction to the exhilarating world of trail running. It’s a chance to embrace the great outdoors and discover the serenity and challenges it offers.

Every participant will receive a well-deserved swag bag, and upon crossing the finish line, you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful commemorative medal, a symbol of your accomplishment and a testament to your trail-running prowess. For those who prove their mettle, there are additional prizes up for grabs. The top three overall finishers, as well as those who excel in their respective age groups, will be honored with prizes and recognition.

Beyond the personal achievements, this event carries a deeper purpose. The proceeds from the Quicksilver Trail Challenge will once again be generously donated to support local charities.
