Featuring a half marathon, 11K, 5K, and a 1 mile walk/fun run, the San Jose National Veterans Day Run has a distance for everyone. Plus, all veterans and active duty military personnel will receive discounts on their entry fees.
This race is a celebration of Veterans and active military and encourages participants to either donate to Operation Gratitude or set up their own fundraiser to sponsor Operation Gratitude. This national charity has a mission to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of active duty and veteran communities.
The race takes place at the Arena Green Park in San Jose. This park is at the confluence of the Guadalupe River and Los Gatos Creek and is a beautiful green space in the heart of downtown San Jose. Runners will have a chance to see some of the best of San Jose as they race this city course.
All finishers will receive a 1.5-inch round lapel pin as well as a commemorative medal. Participants have the option to sign up for Silver or Gold upon registering. Silver registration includes a cotton t-shirt and gold registration includes a tech t-shirt.
The fastest finishers will have an opportunity to collect an award if they are the best in the field. The top overall male and female finishers will receive an award as well as the top three in each age group category.
