If you’re aiming to conquer the Half Marathon and require a little extra time, you have the option to start early, ensuring you cross the finish line by the 10:45 AM cutoff. Participants are invited to gather at 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. in Long Beach, CA 90803, located near 54th Place and Ocean Blvd. For accurate directions, please rely on Google Maps or Waze, as Apple Maps may not provide the best guidance. To ensure a smooth race day experience, it’s recommended that attendees carpool and arrive early to secure parking and access to restroom facilities. In the spirit of preparedness, bringing some extra toilet paper is advised, as beach restrooms might not be fully stocked in the early hours.
The race courses are designed to be straightforward and enjoyable. Each distance includes scenic loops along the beach path, clearly marked for ease of navigation. The 5k involves one loop, the 10k presents two loops, and the 15k guides runners through three loops. Meanwhile, the Half Marathon challenge comprises three 4.36-mile loops.
