Runners start the out-and-back loop course for the Buffalo Bill Cody Half Marathon at City Park in downtown Cody, at Beck Avenue and 10th Street. From there, the course heads out on a clockwise loop with scenic views of Rattlesnake Mountain, Cedar Mountain and Hart Mountain off in the distance as well as McCullough Peaks. You’ll also see plenty of the heart of the city as you run through in the second half, after passing by the airport, to cross the finish line back at City Park.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
