Like the full marathon, the Capital City Half Marathon follows an out-and-back course that takes runners on a clockwise loop through the city, and startes downtown at Sylvester Park on Washington Street (just a few blocks from Capitol Campus, the site of the state capitol building that overlooks Capitol Lake). From there, the race winds through Priest Point Park, Watershed Park and the Washington Governor’s Mansion Grounds, before finishing back next to Sylvester Park.
