Runners start the out-and-back course for the race at the Kenyon Athletic Center, beginning the half marathon by running a four-mile winding loop through both the campus and nearby Gambier. From there, the course takes runners on a winding route both through the Kenyon campus and along the Kokosing Gap Trail, a 14-mile-long paved recreational trail built on the former Pennsylvania Railroad.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
