Runners will start the out-and-back loop course for the Hillbilly Half Marathon just outside the race’s namesake city, in the nearby village of Leiper’s Fork. From the starting line at the intersection of Old Hillsboro Road and Floyd Road, the race makes a big clockwise loop along Bailey Road, Bear Creek Road, Leipers Creek Road and Old Hillsboro Road before taking runners across the finish line back where they started.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
