Course Map: Augusta Half Marathon

Runners start the loop course for the Augusta Half Marathon along the Augusta Commons. The course begins by taking runners down Broad and Greene Streets, and then down Laney Walker Boulevard and Central Avenue toward Augusta University. After about a mile run on campus, runner will be past the halfway point while heading toward Lake Olmstead, and later run a stretch along the Augusta Canal Trail. By this point, runners are meters from the Georgia/South Carolina border as they take the Canal Trail back to Broad Street before crossing the finish line.

Where do I pick up the race package before Saturday, Feb 26? or do we get it on the day of the race?
    Blessings

Something is odd at the 11 to 12 mile location. It appears you cross Washington Road and run to the bottom of the Washington Road on ramp, Then U-turn and return back-up on to Washington Road and turn on Redwood Drive.
Last year we came off Washington Road off ramp and went up to Broad Street, Turned back to Lakemont.

The route goes down Milledge Rd. Then there is an overpass/bridge that goes over Calhoun Expressway that we ran across. Take a left onto Broad off of Milledge. Get in the right hand lane down to lakeshore close to Neptune dive and ski and around the backside of the lake over to the new running path that goes from the Lake Olmstead trailhead to the Kroc center. Hope this helps.
