Course Map: Little Grand Canyon Half Marathon

Runners follow a gradual, downhill point-to-point route through the mountains of eastern Utah at the Little Grand Canyon Half Marathon, which starts and finishes about a three-hour drive from Salt Lake City. From the starting line on Buckhorn Draw Road, the race unfolds in a southeast direction through the canyons all the way down to the finish line near the San Rafael River, where the road crosses over the river.

The official Little Grand Canyon Marathon web page seems to be defunct. The link you provided does not work for me. Thanks for maps, descriptions, etc., but I see no information at halfmarathons.net on starting times and bus-loading times for the marathon, half-marathon, and 10-k. I seem to remember a 6:30 bus-loading deadline for the 10-k in past years. Is that right for this year?

      Hi Richard,

I’m seeing that as well. I just found this post by the organization that runs this race, Mammoth Marathons, at their Facebook page. It looks like it contains the info you’re looking for. I honestly have no idea why they seem to have let their website go dark, but their FB page seems to have the most current info:

      Hope that helps!
