Fast and mostly flat, the course for the half marathon starts at South Pointe Park, weaving through South Beach for the first several miles before heading north along Ocean Drive. From there, the course heads northward along Miami’s mixed-use oceanfront path, with the exception of a brief out-and-back loop along Lincoln Road around miles 5 and 6. After reaching Indian Beach Park, runners retrace their steps south (this time skipping the Lincoln Road section) back to South Pointe Park for the race finish.
