The race takes runners on an out-and-back course that starts and finishes near the trail head in Midland, at the area known as the “Tridge,” a three-way bridge that sits near the confluence of the Tittabawassee and Chippewa rivers, also near where Wyman Street and Ashman Street meet. From there, the course follows a simple route: northward and westward along the Pere Marquette Rail Trail, out from Midland toward nearby Sanford and Jerome Township and back.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
