Largely fast and flat for the first 10 miles, the all-new Mo’ Cowbell Half Marathon takes runners on a tour of this city across the Missouri River from its larger neighbor, St. Louis. Runners start at Frontier Park along the banks of the river, and follow an out-and-back loop course that has its only hills to speak of in the final three miles of the race — and where spectators will be ringing the more than a thousand cowbells the race organizers plan to hand out on the day of the race.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
