Runners start the course for the Oklahoma City Memorial Half Marathon just a few blocks from the finish line, on Harvey Street next to the Oklahoma City National Memorial that commemorates the lives lost in the April 1995 bombing of the Alfred Murrah federal building. From there, the course makes a counter-clockwise loop through the city, passing by and through several city parks, especially around the middle miles of the race.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
