Runners follow a counter-clockwise, out-and-back loop course for the Pensacola Half Marathon, which starts and finishes in Veterans Memorial Park, overlooking the waters of Pensacola Bay. From there, the course heads around 10th Avenue, DeLeon Street and 9th Avenue for a quick loop before heading south past the park and then onto the Scenic Highway (Highway 90) for several miles along the waterfront. That’s followed by turns on Summit Boulevard, Texar Drive and Palafox Street, which brings runners back to Romana Street and to the park for the race finish.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
