From the starting line in downtown Pinedale, runners follow a course for the Pinedale Half Marathon that takes them from the center of downtown to the banks of Fremont Lake, up in the mountains surrounding the city. Participants will need to be ready for a high-altitude event, as the race starts at an elevation of 7,175 feet above sea level and experiences an overall gain of about 300 feet through the course of the race.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
