Course Map: Rock ‘n’ Roll DC Half Marathon


The Rock ‘n’ Roll DC Half Marathon course takes runners on a fast and flat race through the streets of the nation’s capitol, with ample views of the country’s iconic national monuments like the U.S. Capitol Building, the Washington Monument, the White House and the U.S. Botanical Gardens. Runners start the race on the National Mall near the White House and the Washington Monument, and then head across the Potomac along the Arlington Memorial Bridge and back.

Turn-by-Turn Directions

  • Start at Constitution Avenue and 14th Street N.W.
  • Right at Virginia Avenue
  • Right at 18th Street
  • Left at E Street
  • Left at 21st Street
  • Left at Virginia Avenue
  • Right at 19th Street
  • Right at Constitution Avenue
  • Left at 23rd Street
  • Right at Lincoln Memorial Circle
  • Follow Lincoln Memorial Circle onto the Arlington Memorial Bridge
  • Follow bridge over to the opposite side of the Potomac River
  • Turn at circle, then return back across the river
  • Left at Lincoln Memorial Circle
  • Continue onto Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway
  • Follow Rock Creek and Potomac Park for next 3 1/2 miles
  • Right at Calvert Street
  • Left at Columbia Road
  • Right at Harvard Street
  • Right at 6th Street
  • Left at W Street
  • Left at 2nd Street
  • Right at Bryant Street
  • Right at North Capitol Street
  • Left at K Street
  • Right at 4th Street
  • Left at H Street
  • Right at 13th Street
  • Left at Constitution Avenue
  • Left at North Carolina Avenue
  • Right at C Street
  • Continue onto 22nd Street
  • Follow 22nd Street into parking lot of RFK Stadium
