Runners follow an out-and-back loop course that runs through Portsmouth, New Castle and near Wallis Sands State park at the Seacoast Half Marathon, which starts and finishes at Portsmouth High School just off Summit Avenue. From there, the course makes two loops around the peninsulas and the islands just off the coast of this southeastern New Hampshire city, which lies along the border with Maine.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race.
