Runners start the out-and-back course for the See Jane Run Half Marathon at Gas Works Park, which overlooks the waters of Lake Union and downtown Seattle in the distance. From there, the course takes runners along the lakeshore for most of the race, along a combination of the roadways and running, walking and biking trails that surround the lake, including a pair of bridge crossings, over the Fremont Avenue Bridge and University Bridge.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
