The out-and-back course for the annual October running of the Spokane Half Marathon takes runners along a combination of paved roads and the occasional gravel road surface, with much of the course unfolding along the Spokane River and the race finish in Riverfront Park, just a stone’s throw from the starting line. The middle portion of the race takes runners along sections of Washington’s Centennial Trail, a walking, running and biking path that stretches from Idaho to the town of Nine Mile Falls, Wash.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
