From the starting and finish line area at equestrian and event space Galway Downs, runners follow a course that consists of a mix of paved and dirt roads. With a beginning elevation of 1225 feet, runners can expect a steady uphill climb for the first five miles of the race before reaching a max elevation of 1643 feet. From there the course is mostly downhill to the finish line, with a few smaller hills to make the course challenging.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
