Runners follow a point-to-point course that features only gently rolling hills for the first seven miles at the Arches Half Marathon (formerly known as The Other Half), which starts at the historic Dewey Bridge along Highway 128 just outside Moab and to the east of Arches National Park. From there, runners head southwest along the highway toward Moab, and hit a steep uphill climb after the mile 7 marker, followed by more rolling hills and finally a downhill in the last mile, which heads in to the race finish line at the Sorrell River Ranch Resort.
