Runners follow an out-and-back loop route through Cherry Creek State Park at the Three Creeks Half Marathon, which follows along the winding banks of Cherry Creek, Windmill Creek and Cottonwood Creek inside the park. The course features relatively little change in elevation; you’ll gain just over 290 feet over the course of your entire 13.1 miles, so much of it will feel largely flat as you make your way along the run. The race starts and finishes at the park’s Hobie Hill parking lot, just off Dam Road.
Note: The course map above provides the approximate route for the race. Though every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, changes are sometimes made to race routes due to weather conditions, road closures or other circumstances that can require a course to be changed.
