Runners follow an out-and-back course along the winding fire roads and trails of Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park at the Valley Crest Half Marathon, which starts and finishes at the park’s trailhead on Reseda Boulevard. From there, runners head out on what is roughly an upside-down T-shaped course, first westward and then, after the turnaround, eastward back through the park before returning to the finish line.
